Green line: Ethnic Minorities in South west China

 

   Places to visit
     1. Xi'an  
 

      Served as China's capital throuthout its golden ages, Xi'an has incredible amount of historical legacies such as the Terra-cotta Soldiers and the Wild Goose Pagoda.

     2. Chengdu

      The capital of Sichuan Province, Chengdu is famous for its Jinsha Culture, 1,200-600 BC and Dujiangyan, a hydraulic project engineered over 2,000 years ago. Chengdu is also home to China's Panda Research Center.

     3. Lijiang

      A well preserved ancient town of the Naxi people, Lijiang is surrounded by beautiful snow mountains and rivers, with unique and colorful minority cultures still very much intact.

     4. Dali

       Home of Erhai, the most untouched and environmentally preserved lake in China, Dali is also the home for the Bai people , a minority group that have been living in China's southern border for millenniums.

       5. Kunming

       Capital of Yunnan Province, known as "the City of Eternal Spring," Kunming has very pleasant climate with year-round blooming flowers. More than 20 different ethnic minorities had made their homes here.
